Oh, those Nobel prizes! Wake up, marvel at superhuman stuff

Wake up, you ordinary folk - amid the afterglow of the Nobel season, marvel at superhuman achievements, gaze in awe at superhumans and consume the public relations-publicist content faithfully reproduced by unquestioning Western news streams.
This year's announcements proved bittersweet for me because an Indian-origin United States economist, Abhijit Vinayak Banerjee, 58, and his wife Esther Duflo, 46, a French-US economist, figure among the three joint winners of the Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel (aka the Nobel prize in economics).
Many still wonder whether economics is a "science". Some deem it a pseudoscience. Others see it as a hyper-intellectualization of questionable statistics or data.
