Ningxia encourages 10-day parental leave

Authorities in the Ningxia Hui autonomous region are rolling out regulations encouraging companies to offer 10-day parental leave to employees before their children turn 4 years old. The move, which is set to come into effect on Nov 1, aims to encourage parents to take part in childcare and education, Xinhua News Agency quoted Zhou Wenying, head of the local women's rights department, as saying.
