A man charged over the fatal bludgeoning of four other homeless men in New York's Chinatown has been described as "an angry person".
Randy Santos, 24, who was charged on Sunday with four counts of murder over the attacks, was an unwelcome figure among those sleeping rough in the neighborhood, according to Omar Robinson, who has been staying in the Chatham Square area of Chinatown for two months.
Robinson told China Daily: "He was just alone, and he was angry - he was an angry person." He added that Santos would tell passersby: "You are gonna die."
