Multinational companies pledge commitment to expo, Chinese market
The fact that many companies are returning to attend the second edition of the China International Import Expo reflects how the event represents the vast growth opportunities China has to offer, according to senior executives from multinational corporations.
Having benefitted from the inaugural expo last year, foreign businesses have spared no efforts in prioritizing their strategies in accordance with the Chinese government's agenda of pursuing innovation and a high quality of life.
"The CIIE is a great opportunity for China to maximize its global influence as well as for companies to exhibit their capabilities and cutting-edge products," said Tony Acciarito, China president of Thermo Fisher Scientific, a United States-headquartered science service company.
