Pompeo heads to Saudi Arabia amid fallout from strikes blamed on Teheran

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates - Saudi Arabia said on Wednesday it joined a United States-led coalition to secure the Middle East's waterways after an attack targeting its crucial oil industry.

Riyadh's decision to enter the International Maritime Security Construct came ahead of a planned visit by US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo from Wednesday.
