On our Sina Weibo

The Shanghai Astronomy Museum, which will be the world's largest when it officially opens in 2021, has completed testing of the lighting systems for its main building and landscape. Located in Pudong New Area, the 38,164-square-meter facility comprises one main structure and other buildings. The main idea behind the design of the building is influenced by astronomical principles like orbital motion. Audiences can participate in interactive activities powered by augmented and virtual reality and artificial intelligence to learn about astronomy.
