Enjoying the sights of autumn in Beijing as weather changes

I always loved going through the four seasons, whether it is in Beijing or New York City.
I grew up in the Philippines, where there are only two seasons to speak of. One is hot and sunny and sticky, the other is wet and rainy, as water pours from the sky in sheets.
From December to February, it would be tolerably balmy as the northern hemisphere shifted into winter.
