Rebuilding and reviving

Since 2016, work to repair and preserve old buildings has been carried out in Shiping county, Yunnan province. That year, the China Foundation for Cultural Heritage Conservation launched a program to save and protect ancient architecture. As a famous place for valuable cultural relics, the historical buildings of traditional villages in Shiping county have been well repaired and revitalized through efforts of experts and traditional craftsman.
