German automaker Mercedes-Benz presented a powerful lineup at the popular annual Chengdu Motor Show on Thursday, maintaining a healthy growth trend that is set to help sustain its target of high quality, sustainable development in China.
The company announced that more than 470,000 new vehicles, including passenger cars from Mercedes-Benz and smart, had been sold in the first eight months of 2019, slightly higher compared to the same period last year.
At the motor show the Stuttgart-based premium automaker unveiled a dazzling portfolio of 30 models, among which was the company's first all-electric SUV - the all-new EQC SUV - for which pre-orders have already begun.
