REFRESHING TIME

Kuntai Hotel Beijing has launched a new afternoon tea buffet. It features a collection of desserts, including pecan pies, fruit towers, mango and apple mousse. Traditional Chinese refreshments such as green bean cake and wandouhuang, a traditional Beijing snack made from smashed beans, are also available. Coffee, tea, sparkling wine and other beverages, as well as biscuits, are on offer, too. Priced at 101 yuan ($14) per person, the buffet will be available until the end of this year.
