Villagers build basketball court inside karst cave

Xinchun village in Guizhou province has built a basketball court inside a karst cave. Because of their love of basketball, the villagers chose the cave as a sports venue. The court was funded by local government subsidies and resident donations after a safety assessment. Measuring 28 by 15 meters, the court can accommodate about 1,000 spectators. The venue is also used for festival celebrations, as it is cool in summer and warm in winter.
