Romania takes center stage

As the guest of honor, Romania will bring books, lectures, debates, exhibitions, a stage play and 40 industry professionals to Beijing, says Miruna Olteanu, head of communications at the Romanian Cultural Institute. The Romanian books will present both the country's history and its views on China. Authors, like the poet and novelist Aura Christ, and publishers will tour China, as Chinese academic and literary works continue to gain in popularity there.
