Times are changing and jobs are not all that easy to come by

Jobs are vanishing fast. Demand for new skill sets is ever on the rise. Employers often do not get the kind of skilled workers and engineers they want, even as the universities churn out graduates in the millions as factory products.

In the end, both employers and employees suffer, more so in high-tech industries. In this milieu, employability and vocational training are the key words, especially in the realm of education and economy.

I, too, have heard these words several times, but never given it a serious thought until my son sought my help on the subject for a college project that he was doing.
