World photo exhibition puts memorable images in focus

I had the pleasure of holidaying in Tokyo recently where I came across the World Press Photo Exhibition 2019. Every year, this show travels the globe highlighting some of the most important and beautiful photographs to the public.

I first visited the exhibition more than 10 years ago in Edinburgh, Scotland. The parliament there hosts a free show annually, so it was great to revisit the program.

In Tokyo, the venue is the TOP Museum, also known as Tokyo Photographic Art Museum. For a 800 yen ($7.40) fee you get access to impressive, thought-provoking images.
