Govt, opposition set to resume dialogue
The Venezuelan government and opposition have agreed to meet again for talks to overcome the country's political crisis, the parties involved said on Sunday. Venezuelan Communication and Information Minister Jorge Rodriguez tweeted on Sunday that the two sides will continue the Norway-mediated talks. "History will recognize the Bolivarian government's tenacious stance in favor of dialogue," Rodriguez said. Opposition leader Juan Guaido issued a statement, confirming the opposition's participation in the talks, which are scheduled to be held in Barbados. The political deadlock between the two sides reached a critical point in January, after Guaido declared himself "interim president" of Venezuela and was immediately recognized by the United States.

Strong quake causes panic in eastern region
A strong earthquake late on Sunday night caused panic in parts of eastern Indonesia and triggered a tsunami warning that was later lifted. There were no immediate reports of major damage or casualties. The US Geological Survey said the magnitude 6.9 quake was centered 185 kilometers southeast of Manado in the Molucca Sea at a depth of 24 kilometers. A hospital in Manado, the capital of North Sulawesi Province, was damaged and patients evacuated. The quake caused panic in the city of Ternate in the Maluku island chain, where people ran to higher ground, a witness said.

1 gored, 4 others injured in running of bulls
The second day of bull runs at the annual San Fermin Festival left five people injured, including one with a minor goring on Monday. Two men and a woman were hospitalized with head injuries or severe bruises, said Tomas Belzunegui, a spokesman with the regional hospital in Pamplona. Another runner was treated for bruises, and a fifth was gored in the back by a horn but didn't need hospital treatment. The six bulls from the Cebada Gago ranch, which is known for raising ferocious beasts, were surrounded by tame cattle for most of the 850-meter route to the bullring, leaving runners scrambling for limited space close to their horns.
