Extending 'Wuhan spirit' ahead of 70th anniversary of ties

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi met President Xi Jinping on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, on June 13.

The prime minister said on social media the discussions "included the full spectrum of India-China relations" and added that the two countries would work on improving economic and cultural ties.

Modi resumed office for a second term in May, an expected electoral outcome, a Chinese analyst recently told me.
