New Yorkers sometimes get an undeserved reputation for rudeness. I say sometimes because, of course, there are rude and crazy people here.

Perhaps some of that surliness comes from the fact that they live in a city that everyone in the world wants to visit, and people constantly get in each other's way.

You can find all sorts of to-do and not-to-do guides on the internet about New York City. Some of them are compiled by travel websites; others by 20-somethings who've been here six months and already think they've mastered the metropolis.
