Fueling a growth spurt for Jr. NBA

Gatorade has become synonymous with global sports success thanks to countless videos showing players and coaches having barrels of the energy drink dumped on them to celebrate major victories.
In particular, the world's leading sports fuel brand has long had a significant partnership with the National Basketball Association, and the latest beneficiary is the Jr. NBA in China.
On Thursday, Claire Wang, vice-president of youth development for NBA China, and Carl Liu, brand head for the Jr. NBA Global Championship China regional finals, announced that Gatorade, a division of PepsiCo, has become an official partner of the league's global youth basketball program for boys and girls.
