Liu Cailin, a Hebei Academy of Fine Arts graduate, fell in love with jewelry design, and several months after he graduated he opened his own workshop. For lovers, every gift is special as one request Liu received shows: a woman received a leaf from her boyfriend, and wanted to preserve it in some way. Liu made a piece of jewelry for her in the shape of the leaf, one of more than 2,000 requests he's turned into works of art. His store's monthly sales have reached 150,000 yuan ($22,300) on average.
