Tech: Historical style of pottery printed in 3D

After his university graduation in 2011, Gao Tengfei returned to his hometown, Nanshishan village in Henan province, which is known as the home of tricolor glazed pottery, or tangsancai. The skill, which dates back to the Tang Dynasty (618-907), was recognized as a national intangible heritage in 2008. He brought 3D printing to the skill. "The handmade craft seems far away from technology. But if it is possible to integrate them, I want to explore it," Gao said.
