Kim Jong-un leaves after talks with Putin
Kim Jong-un, top leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, paid his respects at a ceremony honoring the war dead on Friday before wrapping up a visit to the Russian Far East for his first summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Kim left for Pyongyang on Friday afternoon by train, Russian news agencies reported. Following their talks on Thursday, Putin indicated that Moscow might be willing to play a bigger role in breaking the stalemate over Washington's push for denuclearization and Pyongyang's demands for sanctions relief. The DPRK's official Korean Central News Agency reported that Kim told Putin that the United States adopted a "unilateral attitude in bad faith" at a summit attended by US President Donald Trump two months ago in Hanoi, Agence France-Presse reported.
