Scandinavian luxury brand Volvo Cars launched its all-new luxury SUV - the Volvo XC40, on April 16 in Shanghai, as part of the automaker's efforts to amplify its product portfolio and make the brand more influential among younger consumers.
"Featuring urban, luxury and pure SUV attributes, the new Volvo XC40 is a strategic model for Volvo to dash forward into a new segment of luxury compact sports utility vehicles, and it is a great-hearted model that targets younger-generation customers, helping the 92-year-old Volvo brand to become more exciting and dynamic," said LC Chen, president of marketing, sales and services of Volvo Cars Greater China, on April 16, at the ongoing 18th Shanghai auto show.
As a model for the younger generation who are confident, creative and have a great passion for expressing their individuality and quality of life, the new Volvo XC40 has substantial improvements in its space design, vehicle-mounted technologies and driving experience.
