Man has fingers sliced off while flying a kite

A man in Nantong, Jiangsu province, had three fingers severed by his kite line following an unexpected gust of wind, Jiangsu TV reported. His friend, also in his 50s, was also injured when the line cut through his arm, the report said, without providing more details. The accident happened when the men were trying to retrieve the kite by gathering its line after seeing dark clouds approaching. Doctors warned that a kite line can be as sharp as a knife.
