Unwavering commitment sparks 'Year of the SUV' for Mercedes-Benz

China has been the largest car market in the world for a decade and SUVs in particular have continued to show strong momentum, be they from volume brands or premium carmakers such as Mercedes-Benz.
SUV sales totaled almost 10 million in the country in 2018, more than 20 times the figure in 2008, bringing them almost head-to-head with the sedans, according to the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers.
Leveraging the great potential of this segment, Mercedes-Benz has continued to expand its SUV portfolio to bring an increasingly diversified range of products to its customers.
