Rankings: Jack Ma is China's richest man
Jack Ma, founder of e-commerce giant Alibaba, is the wealthiest man in China, according to the Hurun Global Rich List for 2019. With a net worth of 260 billion yuan ($39 billion), the 55-year old Ma took the crown, followed by Ma Huateng (Pony Ma), chairman of Tencent, with a net worth of $38 billion. Evergrande Group's chairman Xu Jiayin is the third-richest with a net worth of $37 billion. With 658 billionaires, China leads the world for the fourth year in the number of billionaires.
