Hui Hui gets a caring family as he finally enjoys a dog's life

I've been worried about Hui Hui for almost a year. I first saw him last summer when he was a small puppy, hiding under a worker's truck in the Yuandadu Park near China Daily. He was afraid to come out when other dogs were around. The worker built a small wooden box for him to live in and gave him food.

The cold winter must have been very hard on him, but he survived. In recent months, he walked more widely around the park and started to come up to people and play a bit with other dogs.

You might think that his life would make him bitter, but he is a very sweet little guy.
