Tech: A supersonic flying saucer

A Romanian company said they have made a flying saucer that could reach the United States from Europe in one hour. The developers claim the All-Directional Flying Object is the first vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with the agility to hover and change direction at supersonic speed. The aircraft can operate like a drone, but built-in jets means it can break the sound barrier. Its engineer and inventor Razvan Sabie developed the concept and has built a 1.2-meter diameter working prototype for testing.
