Summer Palace lipstick is a glossy hit on Tmall

The Summer Palace released its own line of lipsticks recently. More than 4,000 of the "Empress Style" lipsticks were sold on Tmall within 24 hours. The palace teamed up with the domestic brand Catkin for its new line of makeup products, which also includes eye shadow and facial masks. The design of the packaging was inspired by an embroidery screen in the residence of Empress Dowager Cixi at the Summer Palace.
