China Daily | Updated: 2019-03-11 07:24

BEIJING - As China's tech companies continue to grow, so too does their demand for qualified employees.

JD, a leading online retailer, announced plans last month to recruit around 15,000 new staff this year, with the bulk of the total, around 10,000 positions, as workers and first-line managers, for its logistics arm. The rest of the job offers will be for its retail sales and other subsidiaries.

Retail, logistics and digital technology have taken shape as the core businesses of the internet giant.
