Mobile games to attract 2.4 billion players

Market researchers expect more than 2.4 billion people to play online games this year, according to a recent report. Most will access games on mobile platforms. The game's industry is also expected to generate $148 billion in revenue this year. US gaming powerhouse Activision Blizzard teamed up with market researcher Newzoo to issue the report.
