According to video platform Yizhibo, the pet owner from Nanjing, Jiangsu province, spent thousands of yuan on the surgery to make the cat's eyes seem rounder. But the hospital claimed the operation was required to save the cat's eyesight. Yizhibo said most veterinarians can do the cosmetic eyelid surgery on a dog or cat.
