食品安全责任制 (shípǐn ānquán zérènzhì)

The Communist Party of China Central Committee and the State Council have jointly issued a regulation on a food safety responsibility system which includes food safety into the performance evaluations of local Party and government leaders.

This is the first inner-Party regulation on the food safety accountability of local Party and government leaders, which is expected to be a long-term mechanism to guarantee food safety.
