Tech: This poster can give weather forecast

A paper poster that can display weather forecasts has been launched by designer Oli Woods and his company Typified. The poster merges traditional art - in this case, a screen print - with modern technology to create a smart display that's nicer-looking and less obtrusive than many wall decorations. It doesn't provide a detailed weather forecast - just a single icon signifying rain, clouds or sun at 8 am, 12 pm, 4 pm and 8 pm. The screen uses heat-sensitive ink to light up the proper icons using weather data pulled from the internet. It is a mix of analog and digital technology.
