SAN FRANCISCO - A US-led international team of scientists has found that cognitive ability in early adulthood plays a key role in one's mental capacity later in life.
The team recently published its study.
The scientists, led by researchers from the School of Medicine at the University of California, San Diego, were trying to figure out the relationship between early adult general cognitive ability, or GCA, and the cognitive capabilities of people, such as education and intellectual activities, when they are older.
