Logistics key to any business, and these days that means speed

Waiting for a package or a letter can be a nerve-wracking experience especially when you are abroad.

So I was pleasantly surprised when I received a set of goods that I had ordered from a Chinese e-commerce platform within a matter of hours.

The speed with which the order was executed made me realize how much water has flowed under the logistics bridge. I still remember more than three decades ago when I had to wait for over a fortnight to get a package sent from my village in the southern Indian state of Kerala to Bengaluru.
