Service: Ticket booking launched for key expo

Online ticket sales have opened for the upcoming International Horticultural Exhibition 2019 in Beijing, with discount prices offered for online reservations. Tickets cost 120 yuan ($17.65). Those who reserve online from Jan 20 to April 28 will get a discount of 10 percent, according to the exhibition coordination bureau. Online tickets are available at aoyou.com and ctrip.com. Local residents who have booked online will not require printed tickets because they will be able to enter the expo area by swiping their identity cards. Open from April 29 to Oct 7, the expo will display the latest achievements in floriculture and fruit and vegetable farming at the foot of the Great Wall in the capital's Yanqing district.
