Japan's robot hotel 'fires' half its robotic workers

Japan's robot hotel, where guests are met by a dinobot, and room service bots roam the halls, has fired more than half of its robotic workforce, according to The Daily Mail. The first Henn na Hotel opened in Nagasaki in 2015, and was certified the following year by Guinness World Records as the world's first hotel with robots on its staff. However, following complaints from staff and customers, the chain has culled more than half of its 243 robots, many because the machines frequently created more problems than they solved.
