Woman fined for using phone while walking

You see them every day, everywhere. Glued to their devices, pedestrians are busy texting, watching videos or playing games on their mobile phones. But things may change in Wenzhou, Zhejiang province, after a pedestrian was fined 10 yuan ($1.50) last week for using her phone in the street, thus breaking a new safety regulation. The regulation, which took effect on Jan 1, says pedestrians who block the way of other pedestrians or vehicles while using their cellphones in a roadway will receive a warning or a fine.
