China ranks third on the list of smartest countries

British website Vouchercloud has ranked the world's top 25 countries by intelligence. It uses the number of Nobel Prizes each nation has won to represent historic intelligence, and the current average IQ and educational attainment to represent the potential intelligence of the next generation. Asia and Europe dominate the list. Japan took top spot thanks to its high placing across all three metrics, followed by Switzerland, China and the United States.
