People: Man, 72, saves over 100 from drowning

Huang Kaihui, from Guiyang, Guizhou province, has saved more than 100 people from drowning in nearly 20 years of swimming in the Huaxi River. The 72-year-old has swum in the river every day since 1999. Some people call him the river's "coast guard" because he is always there when accidents happen. "I know the river well, so I am usually in time to save people from drowning," he said, adding that swimming is good exercise, but safety is the main priority.
