In the New Year, China can cheer up Brexit-bound Britons

New Year is here, but Britons don't seem chuffed. "Season's greetings" outnumber "Happy New Year" in social media messages from my British friends.

The season's winter, and it's been lousy like always, so I'll argue the thick shroud of uncertainty over the future of the post-Brexit United Kingdom appears to have dampened my pals' mood.
