With just a few weeks before Spring Festival, which falls on Feb 5 this year, sales on travel websites are beginning to hit seasonal highs. According to statistics from online travel platform Ctrip, the top 10 countries for Chinese tourists during the holiday will be Japan, Thailand, Singapore, Australia, Vietnam, Indonesia, the United States, Malaysia, Philippines and Italy. Many world-famous landmarks will receive Spring Festival makeovers. From Feb 2 to Feb 17, Universal Studios Hollywood in the United States will dress its cartoon characters in traditional Chinese costumes. Visitors will be able to relish Asian pastries and share New Year resolutions under the wishing tree.
