Thick fog leads to 28-truck collision

Heavy fog led to the crash of 28 trucks in a chain collision on an expressway in Henan province, killing three people and injuring 13 on Monday morning, according to the local government.

The incident occurred about 2 kilometers south of a toll station on the Daqing-Guangzhou expressway in Pingyu county of Zhumadian, the government said.

"There was heavy fog when we first arrived at the accident site. More than 15 trucks were involved in the frontrear accidents. Some special vehicles of logistics companies were also seen," the police said.
