Principal fired for cryptocurrency mining

A school principal, Lei Hua, has been sacked and his deputy disciplined for secretly mining digital currency on school grounds, racking up thousands of dollars in electricity bills. Lei was principal of the Puman Middle School in Chenzhou, Hunan province, in June last year when he decided to mine Ethereum, a cryptocurrency.
