Video: Looking for the best wine in Ningxia
The Ningxia Hui autonomous region in Northwest China claimed a spot on the global wine map in 2011 when a local brand won an international award, the country's first. Many investors have been attracted to build vineyards in Ningxia, including the French wine and spirits company Pernod Ricard, the world's largest cognac producer, as well as Hennessy and Chinese winemaker Changyu. Sixty winemakers from 23 countries and regions currently have links to vineyards in Ningxia.
