Researcher hailed for his explosive career

During his more than six decades as a researcher, Wang Zeshan, 82, has made many contributions to the field of propellants and explosives technology. In January, the so-called King of Explosives won China's most prestigious research prize, the State Pre-eminent Science and Technology Award, for his achievements in extending the firing range of Chinese artillery as well as breakthroughs in detonators.
