Food: Fujian chain's first restaurant in US

Restaurant chain Shaxian Delicacies has opened its first outlet in the United States. Located on Brooklyn's 60th Street, the restaurant opened on Oct 15 and serves traditional Chinese snacks, including peanut butter noodles and pork wonton. Originating in Shaxian county, Fujian province, the snacks spread as locals migrated for work. In June, the company opened its first overseas outlet, at Takadanobaba Station in Tokyo, Japan.
