AW189 helicopter arrives ahead of import expo

An AgustaWestland AW189 helicopter arrived in Shanghai on Saturday to go on display at the inaugural China International Import Expo, which runs Nov 5 to 10. Built by Italian aircraft maker Leonardo, the twin-engine, medium-lift AW189 costs about $28 million. With a capacity for 19 people, it can be used in difficult conditions, such as maritime search and rescue, and law enforcement. Various aircraft from Western Europe, the South Pacific, Central America and southern Africa will be on display at the expo.
