Nuclear sub scientist talks of China dream

Huang Xuhua, 94, director emeritus of China Shipbuilding Industry Corp's Nuclear Submarine Institute, said in an interview on Wednesday that his life belongs to the whole country. He led research and development on China's first nuclear-powered submarines - the Type 09I attack sub and the Type 09II ballistic missile sub - between the 1950s and '80s. Huang said he hopes the new generation of researchers and technicians will link their ambitions with the destiny of the nation.
