World: A bubble-shaped house in France
Perched high up in Theoule-sur-Mer and looking out over the bay of Cannes, is the Palais Bulles, or "Bubble Palace", blushing pink in the southern sun, with its feminine and futuristic natural curves, and plethora of round windows. The beautiful house, built in 1984 by Pierre Bernard with architect Antti Lovag, was bought by fashion designer Pierre Cardin in 1992 and hosts events and fashion shows.
